Dominoes Everywhere: The Masters
March 22, 2022
To celebrate my network TV premiere on the FOX show Domino Masters, I put together this domino topple.
It all started back in October 2020 when a casting agency reached out to me to see if I wanted to be on an upcoming domino TV show. They had seen my past domino videos from a decade ago, and they thought I’d be a good fit for the show. It was nervous to even ponder being on TV, but I decided to do it and the next step was finding teammates to join me. After a few rounds of casting discussions, my friends Paul and Junior were chosen as my teammates, and our team name was even decided on: The Bearded Buddies.

Domino Masters Filming
Filming for the show took place in Los Angeles at the Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Air Center. I wondered if the hangar was named after Bob Barker, long-time host of The Price is Right, but apparently it wasn’t. Some other shows that have filmed there were the People’s Choice Awards, the MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Supermarket Sweep.
Due to COVID concerns, teams were flown out only as their episode would be filmed, and had individual, 5-day quarantines to guarantee all contestants were negative. Also, even while being shuttle to the set, and even on set while not filming, all contestants had to wear face shields.
Overall, it was quite an adventure! It was stressful and hectic, but it was such a fun time getting to compete and meet so many other like-minded domino artists.
